What Are Unstill Life Half-Fast Walk & Run Group Workouts Like?

Our group of runners, walkers and walk-runners meets twice a week and each session has a distinctly different focus. Wednesday nights at 6:30pm are our Run & Walk Fitness and Drills session. We meet at Garfield High School Track in the winter months, and head out into cool neighborhood and park settings in Spring, Summer and Fall. These sessions start with our easy pace warm up and a set of drills and dynamic stretches that are great for walk and run muscle activation, strength and balance. From there we get into shorter harder bursts (100-400m) with easy pace recovery. Walkers have options for increasing heart rate too, as well as more strength and drills. Read more about our track sessions here. Read more
